ABOUT THE COMPANY
A LA CARTE CULINARY SERVICES is a Creative, Gourmet Catering by Design Company based in Northern New Jersey (Bergen County)
The ideal Event Coordinator is proactive and able to keep all logistics and timelines organized. We require a high level of professionalism and only the best customer service for our clients. This is a project based position, and you will be working with the company as an independent contractor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assist the Owner with planning, developing and implementation of all aspects of many events
Handle the booking of events, vendor negotiation, reviewing contracts, creating online registration, event promotion, coordinating guest speakers, tech support, and existing as the liaison among sponsors, vendors, guests and clients
Hours will vary depending on event dates, flexibility is a must.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS &
Experience:
3
years experience in an event coordinating role
Must have proven experience working specifically with high volume events
Must have experience developing project plans and the ability to manage multiple components while exceeding goals
Maintain detailed events calendar
Highly adaptable with a strong ability to problem solve, prioritize, multi-task and troubleshoot effectively
Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and hold a professional attitude
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must be authorized to work in the US
Flexible work schedule
Compensation is commensurate to experience
