Compensation Analyst

  • Developing and implementing compensation communications by providing on-going consultation, guidance and training to client groups.
  • Researching and analyzing market data, trends, and salary surveys to make compensation recommendations.
  • Performing job evaluations and ensuring correct leveling and compliance with FLSA guidelines.
  • Planning, developing, and implementing compensation programs, policies and procedures.
  • Independently conducting projects and participating in special projects as requested.
  • Supporting and implementing compensation strategies and programs by providing on-going consultation to client groups.

You ll need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in compensation or compensation consulting.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience working with client groups, advising and consulting with them on HR, Compensation or related area.
  • Worked in Finance, or have done other complex analytical work.
  • Experience within start-up and/or Hi-tech environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging various compensation vehicles to build competitive and complex offers.
  • Thorough knowledge of FLSA and DOL regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills and the ability to communicate with senior management.
  • High proficiency in the latest word processing, presentation, and data analysis software (e. g. Microsoft Suite, MS Access).

In addition:

  • Experience with sales compensation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
